About the Job

Rob is an American fascist who believes to the bottom of his soul in the greatness of the new Greater America -- which includes the newly-acquired Canada. There is an intense and violent resistance movement opposing the occupation, and Rob, as a hyper-patriotic American, feels he's fulfilling God's mission to crush that resistance. Rob has very few lines in this script. At the beginning we hear him off-screen demanding information from Melina's dear friend and fighting comrade while he beats the kid to death. Later Rob is hunted and finally killed by a drone operated by Melina. During this hunt, Rob has no lines. Rob carries himself with extreme pride, arrogance and a macho, f-you attitude. This walk is key; it will sum up not only his character, but all the American arrogance that's currently threatening our country.
